Sisorarfiit - The Ski Slopes

The ski slopes in Nuuk offer an unforgettable winter getaway with stunning Arctic landscapes, pristine slopes, and the possibility of top-to-water-skiing.
The ski lift in Nuuk is the largest in Greenland. There are three different slopes: a children's, an adult, and a black downhill slope. For this, there are two ski lift systems - one for the children's hill and one for the other two hills. The large lift pulls people 800 meters up Quassussuaq/Lille Malene mountain. At the foot of the lifts, a cafeteria is open when the lifts are running. The slopes meet international standards with green, red, and black runs, including one internationally approved run. You can rent skis, snowboards, and boots, but only a limited number are available. Cross-country skiing trail During the ski season, a cross-country ski trail is prepared every day between Nuuk and Nuussuaq. It is 5, 7, or 11 kilometers long, depending on the snow conditions. The cross-country trail can be used by anyone at any time, but keep in mind that ski clubs have fixed training times and competitions at fixed times on weekends.
