The Ilulissat Ice Fjord is one of the main reasons why Ilulissat is such a populair place to visit. It was the very first area to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004, and it´s not a strech to call it one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The fjord is fed by the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier, which produces massive icebergs that float in the fjord's crystal-clear waters. The icebergs come in all shapes and sizes and are constantly changing, making each visit to the fjord a unique experience. The Ilulissat Ice Fjord is not only a stunning sight but also an important scientific site for studying climate change and glaciology.
