The mountain of Nasaassaaq is a landmark of Sisimiut, as the mountain towers over the town

Nasaasaaq (also known by its Danish name, Kællingehætten) is a 784-meter-high mountain located just southeast of Sisimiut. The Nasaasaaq Ridge has several summits; the main one is also the most prominent, looking a bit like a hat, after which it is named. The summit is often visited for its amazing view of the coast.
