On a rocky hillside, Norse culture is celebrated.
Not far from the Norse ruins, you will find a hillside with figures of Norse landmarks and artifacts made to commemorate the presence of the Norse in the area. The artist is Svend Havsten-Mikkelsen, son of famous Polar explorer Ejnar Mikkelsen. The figures are made of bronze and were installed in 1970.
