Kangerlussuaq Airport
For a few more years, Kangerlussuaq will be the main hub for flights from overseas and domestic destinations in Greenland.
Kangerlussuaq is a busy settlement and a traffic hub, but Kangerlussuaq is much more than just an airport. It’s also a cultural gem, and the hinterland is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. From the Greenland Ice Sheet to the gentle air brought on by the midnight sun to the dancing northern lights in the fall and winter, accompanied by sled dogs and crackling snow. Kangerlussuaq never fails to be stunningly lovely.
