The small village church used to double as a school.
Qassiarsuk Church was built in 1936 and has 125 seats. Originally, the church also functioned as a school as Qassiarsuk became a thriving, small settlement after Otto Frederiksen settled here in 1924.
To this day, it is a treasured church for weddings and other high points in the lives of the farmers and their descendants.
