Outside Narsaq, you will find an old dam built by one of the rivers that deliver water to Narsaq.
People go here for picnics or to play.
Depending on when you arrive, there can be lots of water or hardly any, so it's a great place for teens and others to hang out. On summer days, you can even take a dip in the small pond, although it is quite chilly. In fact, if you go to Narsaq Bay nearby, the salt water may be warmer, even though icebergs are floating in the bay. The area surrounding the dam is very beautiful and a good place to get an Insta snap or two.
