The story of Pilersuisoq can be traced back to the Royal Greenlandic Trade (KGH) that started about 250 years. In the 80s, the trading company was split into two sections, Pisiffik, which could be run as a commercial business, and the Pilersuisoq branch, which delivers daily necessities to remote regions where it is impossible to operate a business without subsidies.
