Oqaatsut is a small village located about fifteen kilometers north of Ilulissat. Originally called Rodebay, it was home to Dutch whalers for centuries. There lives approximately 45 inhabitants, and in the town is a school, church, and a grocery store. Oqaatsut is best known for its restaurant, H8.
