A hill in Greenland becomes a gathering spot for people in Ilulissat on January 13, as they celebrate the return of the sun after a month of darkness.
January 13 is a happy day for the people of Ilulissat, as the sun begins to appear after about a months´s absence during the dark period. People walk from the outskirts of town to Holm´s Hill, where they gather and celebrate each year.
