Climb up the mountains towering over Narsaq to get amazing 360-degree views. Then, add a rock to the cairns!

Towering above Narsaq, you see the mountains Tasigaaq and Qaqqarsuaq. The smaller of the two mountains is 384 meters, while Qaqqarsuaq (meaning The Big Mountain) is 681 meters.

From Tasigaaq, you get a great view of Narsaq, the Greenland Ice Sheets, Narsaq Ilua, the three fjords, and the ice-filled Narsaq Sound that surround Narsaq. From Qaqqarsuaq, you will see all these places, too, and you will have a great view of the Tunulliarfik Fjord with its many iconic mountains.

Up here, you truly have a 360-degree view of the area.

At the top of both peaks, you will find plenty of cairns, so don’t forget to add a rock to one of those to commemorate your visit here.
