Visit the old building foundations where people used to live.
Placed at the western edge of Narsaq and sandwiched between the town and the heliport, you find Old Narsaq. There are remnants from the former Greenlandic settlement before Narsaq became a trading colony around 1830.
Many people lived in peat huts into the 20th century.
Some of the ruins are more recent, but it is interesting to see how they lived very close to the sea - in fact, the Kayak Harbor is not far from Old Narsaq.

Narsaq Kayak Harbor
The original of Narsaq's four harbors, it is also the one with the best view, as it faces southwest towards the Ice Cap and has amazing sunsets.
Narsaq Point with Inuit graves
The Point offers great views and old Inuit graves. It's a great hike, too!

A beautiful white church, Narsaq Church is one of the only churches in the Arctic designed by an Inuit!

This small dam holds a cute little lagoon and beautiful rock surfaces. An ideal picnic place!
The Island - Narsaq Colonial Harbor
You can access this small island at low tide. Don't stay too long on the island, though!

Climb up the mountains towering over Narsaq to get amazing 360-degree views. Add a rock to the cairns!

The Norse built all over lush South Greenland. If you see a particularly lush place, there's a good chance you will find ruins, also.
