The Leif Eriksson Marathon takes place in August most years. It offers both full and half-marathons as well as shorter distances for children.
It is an amazingly beautiful route!
You start in Qassiarsuk in the Tunulliarfik Fjord and run across the Narsaq Peninsula to the huge Sermilik Fjord on the other side before returning back to Qassiarsuk.
