Experience the winter Icefjord on an atmospheric boat tour as we venture deep into the Arctic landscape. Depending on the time of year, we may be able to sail far toward the glacier, or experience the fjord as it begins to freeze and fills with large, drifting sheets of ice. If we find stable sea ice, you may even have the opportunity to step out and feel the silence of the frozen fjord beneath your feet.
Along the way, we pass mountains and islands, including the area around Qoornoq, where we hope to encounter ice in many shapes and shades. The tour also offers good chances to spot Arctic wildlife such as sea eagles, seals, and perhaps even a whale that has remained through the winter.
The tour takes place in our own boats with heated cabins and seating for all passengers. You can also step outside onto the deck for a closer view of the surroundings. On board, you’ll find restroom facilities, and we serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. As the tour lasts several hours, we recommend bringing your own lunch.
